A disposition partner for infrastructure change

When a project removes servers, storage, network hardware, or related electronics, eLake supports the retired portion of the project. Your team manages the move or cabling work; we coordinate agreed recovery, sanitization, recycling, and reporting.

Built around your project handoff

Review the retired equipment separately from hardware being migrated. Agree the collection details, project contacts and client communication so the equipment handoff fits the wider infrastructure change.

project alignment
Identify retired equipment separately from hardware being migrated.
Collection planning
Coordinate equipment collection and removal for the agreed project.
Contact handoff
Confirm project contacts and communication responsibilities before recovery begins.
Accepted equipment review
Keep equipment acceptance tied to project review and confirmed categories.

When eLake can help

Bring us into the equipment-retirement part of the project. We coordinate the equipment handoff, data services and records with the contacts agreed for the work.

Migration closeouts

Separate hardware moving to the new environment from equipment approved for retirement, then coordinate collection and disposition for the retired lot.

Cabling and refresh projects

Bring removed servers, switches, storage and related electronics into a coordinated equipment-retirement project alongside the infrastructure upgrade.

A documented handoff

Align project contacts, collection details, records, and client communication for the agreed project so your closeout has a clear disposition trail.

Common questions

Can equipment retirement be handled alongside a migration?

Yes. Your team manages the migration or cabling project while eLake coordinates the agreed retired-equipment handoff, data services and disposition records.

How do we distinguish migrated equipment from retired equipment?

Review the lot with eLake during project review. Hardware still moving to the new environment remains separate; only the agreed retired equipment enters disposition.

What equipment can we submit for review?

Common categories include servers, storage, HDDs, SSDs, switches, routers, access points, laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, mobile devices, parts, and cables.

What records can support project closeout?

As agreed, records may include an Asset Inventory Manifest, Chain of Custody Record, Certificate of Data Destruction, Proof of Erasure, Certificate of Recycling, Disposition Report, and ESG reporting.
