A separate recovery track for upgrade projects

When switches, routers, access points, servers, and computers come out of service, eLake can coordinate collection and disposition as an agreed project handoff—separate from your installation project.

Define what leaves the site and when

Share the project, locations, equipment categories, and preferred handoff points. Partner contact and any client communication are agreed for the specific project.

Equipment project
Confirm accepted equipment for project review.
Collection details
Coordinate locations, timing, access, and removal needs.
Partner handoff
Agree who communicates with the client and when.
Project records
Set the documentation expected at disposition.

When eLake can help

Bring us into the equipment-retirement part of the project. We coordinate the equipment handoff, data services and records with the contacts agreed for the work.

Network refreshes

Retired switches, routers, access points, and related computers can move into a planned recovery process instead of becoming a last-minute removal issue.

Multi-site upgrades

Coordinate equipment collection and removal across Southeast Michigan locations with project details, accepted equipment, and handoff responsibilities agreed in advance.

Enterprise hardware decisions

Common questions

What equipment can be reviewed from a network upgrade?

Common categories include switches, routers, access points, laptops, desktops, servers, storage, monitors, printers, mobile devices, parts, and cables. Accepted equipment remains subject to project review.

Can recovery be handled separately from the installation work?

Yes. eLake can coordinate the equipment collection and disposition track separately, with partner handoff and any client communication agreed for the project.

What happens to storage and other physical media?

eLake provides Wiping / Media Sanitization and physical media destruction. The agreed project records can include Proof of Erasure, a Certificate of Data Destruction, and chain-of-custody documentation.

How is potential equipment value addressed?

Qualifying equipment can be reviewed for Value Recovery through direct purchasing or agreed resale on behalf. Any commercial terms are addressed for the specific project.
